Colorado Colors

This tour runs Sunday to Friday in September. View mountain sides of shimmering gold on the quaking aspen trees. This slower paced luxury tour follows the route of the Top of the World Tour and includes more time in Vail Village, Aspen/Snowmass and Crested Butte.

 

Vail Village offers art galleries, shopping and restaurants. Other activity options include a day trip to Breckenridge for short hikes, gondola ride, a round of mountain golf, mountain activities such as zip line and mountain coaster and so much more!

Spend 2 nights in Aspen/Snowmass. Included activity are the ghost town of Ashcroft and a gondola ride to the top of Snowmass mountains with an optional hike down through the aspen groves and across the ski runs. On you own find hidden treasures on the streets and in the shops of Aspen.

 

Crested Butte is the Wildflower Capital of Colorado. Optional activities include a world re-nouned Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in the summer months with on-site researchers. Fly fishing and rafting is available, as well as hiking and waterfalls.

 

The final day takes us over the Continental Divide by way of Cottonwood Pass (12,126’). The colors are remarkable on this high mountain pass, peaking around 500’ above tree line. With a 360 degree view of two distinct water sheds. It’s especially spectacular each autumn for the fall foliage. At the bottom of Cottonwood Pass a hot mineral soaking pool option.

 

This is great for photo enthusiasts. Eight breathtaking mountain passes in 4 days makes this a truly unforgettable experience. As always with a private tour, daytime activities may be adjusted to reflect our guests’ desires. Guests may choose their personal level of activity. This tour is only available while the passes are open for the season, usually Memorial Day through October

This tour is all-inclusive with guiding and transportation, hot spring admission, hotels, 6 breakfast, 6 dinners. Optional activities are not included

2 mountain passes and 2 nights Vail

2 mountain passes and 2 nights Aspen/Snowmass

2 mountain passes and 2 nights in Crested Butte

2 mountain passes then return to Denver
