This active tour includes a visit to the Morrison Natural History Museum featured in the Smithsonian Magazine for the quality of the research currently being performed. Stick your head in T Rex's mouth! Dinosaur Ridge is a fascinating place to go back 150 mil years to see fossilized dinosaur bones, volcanic layers in the rocks, tidal flats, dinosaur tracks and even the underside of where the brontosaurus once walked. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is a geologists wonder and an artist’s dream! Explore the venue and its natural acoustics. See why RR is voted best venue in the world! Hotel pickup and drive west 14 miles to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. *Run the steps (only if you want to!) and play your air guitar at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater * Hands-on fun at the Morrison Natural History Museum *A walking tour of Dinosaur Ridge. * This is an active tour. Please wear sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen to be outside walking and exploring for much of the tour. $375 for up to 3 people 3-4 hours includes transportation, admission, and guiding. This tour is best in the morning due to the Red Rocks schedule and the hot summer sun. It can be experienced year-round.
